The purpose of the Kids Worship at Hope Community Church is for each child to come to know Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, and to bring Scripture to life so our kids can see and feel His presence in everyday life.
Kids Worship is a cool and exciting way for our kids to experience Worship. We sometimes have puppets, lots of hands-on Bible lessons, singing with movement, cooking, games, times of sharing, and wacky things that would only make sense to a child. The goal of each activity is to glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and make Him real in the lives of our children.
"People were bringing little children to Jesus to have him touch them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, He was indignant. He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kindom of God belongs to such as these. I tell you the truth; anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on them and blessed them." Mark 10:13-16
(We are always looking for more adults to train to work with our kids. If you are interested, simply download and complete both the Volunteer Ministry Application form and the Background Check Authorization & Release form, and send them to our office for processing, or contact us for more information.)
